«The truth was a mirror in the hands of God. It fell, and broke into pieces. Everybody took a piece of it, and they looked at it and thought they had the truth.»
Djalal ûd Din Rûmî
A spiritual retreat is an empty space, a pause, to open the doors to self-knowledge and align with our deep being. Far removed from habits and distractions, one can dive inside and observe a gentle personal transformation.
A collective retreat is enriching through the mirror offered by other participants. We get to know ourselves mainly through relationships. A group of people in search of love and truth is a great opportunity to face who we really are and to let go of the veils.

Apart from the other participants, it is nature that reveals us. The retreat venues are chosen for their beauty, their generosity and their serenity in order to awaken these qualities in us. Depending on the weather and the needs of the group, we practice outside or inside. Breaks are usually taken in silence to allow space for contemplation and rest.
The teaching given at the collective retreats is drawn from the spiritual traditions of the world, especially Sufism. Each retreat has a general theme addressed by the various practices proposed:
- Silent and moving meditation
- Conscious breathing
- Yoga and Chi gong
- Silent walking
- Circles of sharing
- The recitation of Divine Names and mantras
- Sufi meditation: the Dhikr
- Dervish whirling: the Samâ
The retreats are open to anyone with a sincere spiritual quest, an openness to all the traditions of the world and a desire to live a community experience. Some retreats are reserved for French-speaking people and conducted exclusively in French. Others are offered in English with a possible translation into French and/or Norwegian. All retreats are residential and some are reserved for women only. A preliminary interview is requested.
“A time of endless dazzlement, masterfully orchestrated through a spiritual work cleverly distilled by times of meditation, dancing, walks in the vastness of landscapes, creativity, deep and rich sharing with the mercy and listening with which you accompany us at every moment. I give you all my gratitude, Annika, for this.”
Béatrice Corbier, 2019
“Annika has been able to adapt brilliantly to each individual by accompanying us with her light and wisdom to finally form a unity where all differences complete one another. And then, praying while dancing, singing, creating, once you’ve tasted it, it’s hard to stop…”
“By the end of the retreat, Annika managed to transform us into humble praying women, yet flooded with happiness at the thought that we were not totally useless and without talent. She allowed us to revive the divine part that lives in us and that we tend to bury.”
“A suspended moment of disconnection and reconnection with oneself, which transforms and regenerates in a gentle manner. Annika’s subtle and caring guidance is very enveloping and reassuring.”
«Come, come, whoever you are. Wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving. It doesn’t matter. Ours is not a caravan of despair. Come, even if you have broken your vows a thousand times. Come, yet again, come, come.”
